You may have or not seen Google Olympic doodles, if you have not here they are
London 2012 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony

On July 27, 2012 Google launched their first Google for the London 2012 Olympics. The “London 2012 Opening Ceremony” announced the start of the games. In the Google Doodle there were several sports visible. These included the following sports: soccer, basketball, athletics, fencing, football, javelin, diving and swimming. These sports have been symbolized by athletes standing in the London 2012 Opening Ceremony Google Doodle.
Olympic Games 2012 Archery

On July 28, 2012 Google featured the London 2012 Archery Google Doodle.
In the image there were an archer standing and shooting at his target. The Bullseye formed part of the second “o” in Google. The London Archery were one of the first sports scheduled at the Lonon 2012 Olympic Games.
Olympic Games 2012 Diving

On July 29, 2012 Google placed the world’s attention on the London 2012 Diving event. In the Google Doodle there are a woman standing on a diving board, with the swimming pool in the background. The London diving event took place in the Excel stadium. On the surface of the pool the words “Google” were displayed as signature of most Google Doodles.
Olympic Games 2012 Fencing

On 30 July 2012 Google featured fencing as part of their London 2012 Olympic Games Doodles. The fencing doodle were responsible to send loads of people to the official site, where they could learn more about fencing, find the latest fencing medal winners and news from the fencing event in london.
In the Google London 2012 Fencing Google Doodle there are two athletes competing against one another. The one athletes head makes up the “o” in Google while the other athlete is using the “L” as a sword. Once again the signature “Google” words were visible in the doodle.
Olympic Games 2012 Gymnastics and Rings

On 31 July, 2012 Google unveiled the London 2012 Gymnastics and Rings in their latest Google Doodle. The London 2012 Gymnastics and Rings Google doodle represented Gymnastics as a whole, although the Google Doodle only had a man performing in the London 2012 Gymnastics Rings Competition.
Interestingly the Rings, were made up by the two o’s in Google, once again making the signature “Google” word visible in the doodle.
Olympic Games 2012 Field Hockey

On August 1, 2012 Google featured the “London 2012 Field Hockey” Google Doodle on their search engine front page. This resulted in massive exposure for hockey at the London 2012 Olympic Games. In the Google Doodle there are a female player running with the ball. The athlete is within the Goal circle and it looks like she is ready to score the first goal in the London 2012 Olympic games.
The words “Google” are once again visible in the London 2012 Field Hockey, however in this image some of the words in “Google” are obstructed and it doesn’t look to me as if the athlete forms part of these letters.
Olympic Games 2012 Table Tennis

On August 2, 2012 Table Tennis received the honor to be featured on the Google Homepage. In the Google there are two athletes, one of these athletes looks angry and aggressive as he gets ready to hit the ping-pong ball. The words Google are visible in the image and the one table racket forms part of the words.
Olympic Games 2012 Shot Put

On August 3, 2012 Google picked a track and field event from the Olympic games to be featured on its front page. The sport selected were the “London 2012 Shot Put” event. In the image there are an athlete standing ready to take his shot at putting the put. The shot put field is visible in the image and there are also two empires standing ready to measure the distance.
The Doodle provided the sport with exceptional exposure, and I am convinced that it would benefit the sport participation in the near future.
Olympic Games 2012 Pole Vault

On August 4, 2012 Google changed their logo to the London 2012 Pole Vault Doodle. In the image there are a female athlete performing a Pole Vault jump. It looks like she is going to hit the crossbar making it a failed jump. In the background one can see the Olympic Stadium and the colors of Google visible on the roof of the stadium. The words “Google” are not clearly visible in this Google Doodle.
Olympic Games 2012 Synchronized Swimming

On August 5, 2012 Synchronized Swimming got the opportunity to be displayed as a Google Doodle. This once again provided the London 2012 Synchronized Swimming event with phenomenal online exposure. In the Google Doodle the swimmers are busy with a Synchronized Swimming act. They appear to be forming a star around the first “o” in Google.
Olympic Games 2012 Javelin

On August 6, 2012 the Google Doodle for the day belonged to the “London 2012 Javelin” competition. At the time I thought that the London 2012 Javelin Google doodle is likely going to be the best Google Doodle for they Olympics. I have particular like the style the doodler used to create the athlete. If you have watched the games on television you would have seen that the camera angles and styles are very similar to those of the “London 2012 Javlin” doodle.
Google Olympic Games 2012 Hurdles

On August 7, 2012 Google changed the perception of the London 2012 Olympic games doodles forever when they launched the first Google Olympics Game doodle. The London 2012 Hurdles doodle are part game, part image and players could play the game. In the game you needed to run the 110 meters as fast as possible to get a gold medal.
If you finished the game, you had a choice to play again, or post your scores to Google+ and tell your friends about the game. You could also click on the search button to read the latest London 2012 Hurdles news, view medals and get info about the competition.
Google Olympic Games 2012 Basketball

On August 10, 2012 Google launched their second Google Olympics Game doodle.
This time it were basketball that stole the world’s attention. In the game you needed to shoot hoop’s and get as many balls through the hoops as possible.
If you want to play the London 2012 Basketball game you can still play it on the Google Doodle site:
London 2012 Basketball
Google Olympic Games 2012 Slalom Canoe

On August 9, 2012 Google launched the Slalom Canoe game. The London 2012 Slalom Canoe google game have been the most challenging came so far in the Google Doodle Games series. In the game you need to kayak through beacons in the river, and race as fast as you can for the finishing line. In the game if you hit any obstacles you get slow down.
The game is not yet available on the Google Doodle pages but we assume that you will be able to play the game there:
London 2012 Slalom Canoe
Google Olympic Games 2012 Soccer

On August 10, 2012 Google launched another Google Olympics Game doodle. In the game you are a soccer player and need to defend your Goals. There are another football player kicking soccer balls at the goals and you need to stop him from scoring. The London 2012 Soccer Google Doodle are a bit controversial as the United Kingdom know’s the game soccer as Football, but this would be confusing to American’s. Luckily the Google Doodle explains itself!
You can play the game on the Google Doodles page at
